A major fundraising campaign for CCPCR!
CCPCR are happy to announce a new partnership with The Branch Foundation. Based in Thailand, this unique Foundation acts as a fundraising body working for grassroots organizations in South-East Asia. They work with partners, such as CCPCR, to challenge poverty and injustice and to achieve positive change particularly in the area of education.
One tool TBF uses is the fundraising platform Global Giving, which makes it easier for non-for-profits to attract donors, increase their network and enhance their fundraising strategy. Please take a look at CCPCR\'s fundraising project on Global Giving.
TBF is supporting CCPCR through this fundraising opportunity to provide access to education in a safe environment for 28 girls in CCPCR\'s Phnom Penh shelter, who are survivors of sex-trafficking, exploitation and/or other forms of related abuse. Once these girls are given the chance of a decent education, they can break the cycle of poverty and become less vulnerable, thus giving them the necessary skills to lead a future life with dignity.
PLEASE help us make this fundraising project a success
by donating to CCPCR via Global Giving
Your donation will directly support education for the girls, this includes the actual school fees for 28 children, uniforms, books and bicycles to get to school.
Did you know?
There are currently over 40,000 Cambodian children who do not attend school (World Bank, 2011)
Please join in on the first major fundraising campaign of the year and spread the word!
Watch out for Bonus Donation Day when Global Giving will match donations at 30% -50%, up to $1,000 per donor, having more of an impact for the girls we are supporting! Even better, sign-up to become a monthly recurring donor on Bonus Day!
We need your help to ensure these survivors are on a path to education and empowerment. Make your donation a gift, in honor of, or in memory of someone and if you are located in the US - your donation is tax-deductible!
This project is crucial to the girls we help. The skills, knowledge and confidence they develop gives them a real chance to overcome their traumas and live stable, rewarding and happy lives. - Mr. Nget Thy, Director, CCPCR.
Help us reach our goal of $35,000 to keep 28 at high-risk children in school!
